A commercial is gonna be making the rounds on cable T.V. and I'm wearing this while teaching about 35 kids with the ipad at this areas largest Kindergarten/Pre school. I forgot to take it off cuz they forgot to turn the heat on or they turned it on too late.
As I was sitting right on the floor and the kids were in their little chairs in a "U" shape in front of me a dude with a big ass camera (like at my beach party) came panning from behind me to the right of me around till he was facing me and my not ready for prime time outfit.
It is advertising and contracting/ re-contracting season and I have been so busy arranging my own classes I forgot this might happen since it does almost every year everywhere in Japan.
My bad....
So they pay 10,000 per 30min x2 (20,000) for the hour. They set the price and I set the terms almost a year ago exactly.
I don't wear ties or anything besides what my own students see..which is whatever I want to wear.
I teach my style and no one else's.
Those 2 terms are the only ones I gave a shit about.
After the 2nd lesson the Temple's Chief/Boss of Bosses came up to me laughing and tugged on my hoodie and said "very nice", winked...then walked away.
THAT'S when I realized I had forgotten to take it off :(
She is super hot for her age and if she was a bit younger her flirting would put her at risk of betraying her vows...she is big money high education nice looks type hot and she knows it.
I am going to be in an add for them...the biggest most famous of them all, and she was absolutely...focused on............ the kids and their beaming faces and all the English they were speaking and my hoodie with a pic of Cain Velasquez beating the shit out of another man splashed on my back was meaningless and amusing and nothing more.
I respect the woman and her outstanding facility which dwarfs all the others and I would not have worn it had I realized it was still on and certainly not during a lesson which was being filmed for advertising. I have "my way" but I also have respect. I woulda shown it more clearly had I known.
I noted the money envelope was thicker than usual..?....I looked in and there was a note and it said:
"Best teacher, please try again this year for us. Very Happy. Children enjoy this year please" (smiley face and heart mark).
If you wear a tie or something you don't like because someone somewhere thinks it makes any fucking difference....I feel bad for ya. I blew it today but I never wore anything near what the previous teacher did..who was contracted by a big chain school and put the kids to fucking sleep with his Eric Carle reading time or whatever the fuck he did.
My friends back in Hawaii wonder how I'm making it out here?

Still never gonna get why T.V. station cameras are still pretty damn big. It was a new model...big ass camera and they always are?
This pic was from a commercial on "Racial tolerance, peace and harmony" and was paid for by the Japanese branch of UNESCO. It ran 3 times a week for about a year and the irony was it was while I was beating the crap outta folks. Imagine having been hit by me and then seeing me...ME...on a UNESCO commercial for Peace....in your living room...again and again on multiple stations.
Life is trippy.......and while the camera's you film life with get smaller with everything else the network cameras.....they just don't?
